Charges in Wounding Early Saturday Morning, 16 June
The 18-year-old man in custody for wounding in relation to a stabbing incident early Saturday morning, 16 June, has been charged with 1) Attempted Murder and 2) Wounding with intent as an alternative. He will be appearing in court later this morning, 18 June.
The victim remains in hospital in critical but stable condition.
Sunday, 17 June
A man, age 18 of George Town, remains in Police custody on suspicion of wounding in relation to this incident early Saturday morning, 16 June.

During the early hours of Saturday 16th June 2018, police were called to a fight outside of Margaritaville Restaurant on Harbour Drive in George Town. On arrival at 1.00 AM they found a twenty-one year old male with multiple stab wounds in a nearby parking lot and administered first aid prior to him being taken to hospital, where he remains in a serious but stable condition. A male was subsequently arrested and remains in custody while the investigation continues.
The police are appealing for witnesses to this offence and the events that led up to it and anyone with information is asked to contact George Town CID on 949 4222.
