As part of gearing up, Leader of the Opposition, Hon. Ezzard Miller, and Chairperson of the Youth Parliament Committee and Councillor, Mrs. Barbara Conolly, were on hand at the LA on Tuesday, 27 February 2018 to help prep this year’s Youth Parliamentarians.

Mr. Miller answered questions and provided the teens useful pointers to help them debate two motions as Government and Opposition Members in the House on Commonwealth Day, Monday, 12 March 2018.

Clerk of the LA, Mrs. Zena Merren Chin, with Serjeant-at-Arms Mr. Kim Evans, linked the Cayman Brac participants to the training via Skype with Mr. Miller who also guided them about parliamentary procedures and how to interact as Members with the House Speaker.
