The Cayman Islands Public Library Service (CIPL) invites the public to the 2022 ‘Family Engagement’ event at the Emily “Teacher Redley” Powery Memorial Public Library (West Bay) on Saturday, 3 September 2022, starting at 10:30 am. 

“Family engagement is a shared responsibility among families, educators, and communities to support children’s learning and development,” commented CIPL West Bay Library Branch Manager Marcia Davis.

She continued, “Family engagement will help libraries serve families of all types with children of all ages. We at the CIPL are here to form respectful partnerships that offer information, guidance, and opportunities for families to be active in their children’s learning and development. 

This event seeks to promote ‘everywhere learning’ and will feature: financial literacy for children, quizzes, interactive puzzles and games, storytime, an e-services presentation and a magic show by The Mighty Ricardo.”
