Born and raised in Northwest Point, West Bay, Julie Hunter has dedicated her life to serving her community. From the age of 13, Julie has been a tireless champion for volunteerism and service. Her lifelong contributions earned her recognition at the 2023 National Hero Day awards celebration, for her outstanding achievements in Volunteerism and Charitable services.

Julie Hunter’s distinguished career spans over 35 years in banking, where she served as Vice President at Cayman National Bank, opening the Centennial Branch in 2003. With a Canadian Bankers degree, she brings unparalleled professionalism and expertise to every endeavor. As a Justice of the Peace and a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS), Julie Hunter is a proven example of integrity, fairness, and excellence.

For more than 17 years, Julie has also led the Circle of Love Ministries, an organization devoted to uplifting the community through encouragement, empowerment, and meaningful impact. Under her leadership, Circle of Love has become a beacon of hope for countless individuals, supporting children, seniors, and families in need through impactful programs and initiatives.

“Beyond my qualifications, my guiding light is my unwavering faith in God, ” Julie shared. “It fuels my mission to bring positive change and inspires my vision for a brighter future. Together, we can take Cayman in a New Direction—one rooted in integrity, opportunity, and unity.”

Rebuilding the Middle Class: Advocating for job creation and affordable housing opportunities to help young Caymanians thrive at home.
Community Infrastructure: Driving long-overdue projects like the Civic Center, Police Station, and repair of Morgan’s Harbor dock.
Sustainable Development: Addressing the challenges of unplanned growth to preserve the Cayman Islands’ unique identity and quality of life.

“I have shared the challenges of our community and hear the cries of our young people, ” Julie said.
