From RCIPS

Just after 7:15PM yesterday, Monday 1 October, police were informed of an incident that was said to have taken place on Kings Road, West Bay where an altercation between two females was said to have taken place in the area. This altercation resulted in one person receiving what appears to be a stab wound.

Shortly after the incident was reported to the police a juvenile female was located and arrested on suspicion of assault GBH and booked into custody, where she remains pending further investigation.

The injured party involved in this incident is currently receiving treatment for what is believed to be serious injuries, however, she is said to be stable at this time.

The matter is currently under investigation at this time by the West Bay Police Station’s CID Team. Detectives are encouraging anyone with information regarding this incident to contact the West Bay Police Station at 949-3999.
