A man, age 24 of Cayman Brac, who was arrested on 12 December, has been formally charged with eight charges including: Causing Fear of Provocation of Violence, Attempted Arson, Assaulting a Police Officer and Disorderly Conduct.

The charges relate to an incident on 12 December, where police responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence in Cayman Brac, between two men known to each other. 

The man will appear in court today, 15 December.
