The Mosquito Research and Control Unit has announced the following aerial and truck operations tonight (Thursday, 6 August 2020). Operations start at 5.30p.m.

Aerial Spraying

• Frank Sound – 7.15 p.m.
• Red Bay – 5.30 p.m.
• Savannah – 5.30 p.m.

Fogging Trucks

• One fogger starting Cayman Kai up to Hutland – 7.15 p.m.
• One fogger starting Rackley’s Dykes, North Sound Estates, Sunrise Landing – 7.15 p.m.
• One fogger starting Bodden Town, Lookout Gardens, Belford Estates up to Moon Bay – 7.15 p.m.
• One fogger starting Governor’s Harbour (all turnings), Lime Tree Bay, Crystal Way, Safehaven, and Canal Point – 7.15 p.m.

Spraying operations were impacted by rainfall Wednesday night (5 August 2020). The 6p.m. flight launched, however rain required the plane to return to the hangar. The 7.15p.m. flight was cancelled. Five spray trucks of six scheduled were able to complete operations.
