| How your support makes a difference Each year the fundraising gala helps us offer a wider range of school tour and educational programmes for all, that support wellness, learning and connection to the local environment and culture. In 2023, as a direct result of the 2022 gala, we were able to expand our offerings to ensure that no one is excluded from the work of the National Gallery and the benefits of the arts. To continue this important work, we need your support in 2023. As a charity, we must generate revenue to support our activities. The annual gala is our largest fundraising event and for 15 years, our imaginative events team has created exciting, sold-out events which have directly contributed to projects, such as school tours and programming in the districts. Our education programming alone connects with over 4,000 students each year and provides inclusive and accessible learning for all ages and abilities. The cost of putting on the gala has increased significantly over the past 5 years and each year requires many man hours to produce the high calibre and memorable event that you rightly expect. To continue doing this, and still raise funds to support our programmes, ticket prices have increased in 2023. NGCI recognises that there are many non-profits and gala events in need of your support. We thank you for your past generosity and hope that you will once again show your support of this wonderful event and help us continue to nurture young talent and promote the visual arts in the Cayman Islands. |
