Cayman: Open Invitation for Expressions of Interest for the National Council for Persons with Disabilities
The National Council for Persons with Disabilities (“NCPD” or “the Council”) is a Cabinet-appointed council which was first established in 2017 under The Disabilities (Solomon Webster) Act, 2016. The NCPD brings together persons with disabilities and advocates and provides a platform to continue the important work of promoting equality and eliminating discrimination in all areas of society. The Council meets on a monthly basis and all members (who are not public servants) receive a small stipend as volunteers for each meeting attended. Appointment terms to the Council. may range from 3 years to 6 years in duration Caymanians and Residents interested in championing disability matters, participating in public education campaigns, and monitoring Government policy implementation are welcome to submit Expressions of Interest by Tuesday,11 April 2023 to [email protected] or by mail or hand delivery to: Cabinet Office- Policy Coordination Unit Government Administration Building Box #105 133 Elgin Avenue Grand Cayman Cayman Islands KY1-9000 For more details on requirements to apply, email [email protected].
