Police are informing persons who parked their vehicles on roadways to immediately remove them.
These vehicles were placed in these locations to protect them from the hurricane; however, the threat has now passed. Parking on a bicycle and pedestrian lane is not only illegal under The Traffic Act, but causes a safety risk for other road users.
Police patrols will be assessing areas for any vehicles that remain.
