Around 12:30PM, Friday 3 January, police received a report of an aggravated burglary that took place at a private residence in the vicinity of North Sound Estates, Bodden Town.

It was reported that on returning home the victim noticed the door to the residence was open.  On entering, the victim encountered two masked men brandishing knives.  The victim ran from the residence to his vehicle, with the masked men in pursuit.  While attempting to escape, one of the masked men was struck by the victims vehicle, and both culprits ran south down Leeward Drive.

The culprits were described as both being around 5 feet 9 inches tall of slim build and dark complexion.  They were both wearing black clothing and face masks.    

The matter is currently under investigation.  Police are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen the culprits, or have any information regarding the incident, to call the Bodden Town CID at 947-2220
