Cayman: Police investigate armed robbery in East End

Shortly before 7:00PM yesterday, 31 October, the 9-1-1 Communications Centre dispatched officers to a report of a robbery at a restaurant on Queens Highway in East End. It was reported that a masked man entered the restaurant, brandished a firearm and demanded cash from workers there. He then fled the scene with a quantity of cash.
The suspect is described as being about 5’10” in height, of light complexion, and was dressed in all black, with black pants, shoes, gloves and a mask. The man was reported to have left in a silver sedan.
The matter is under investigation by Bodden Town CID. Anyone with any information is asked to contact 947-2220.
