Cayman: Police investigate Assault in George Town

Shortly before 5:30PM on Tuesday, 4 January, officers responded to a report of an assault incident at an address on Shedden Road, George Town. It was reported that two men were at the location when an altercation developed between them and one of the men struck the other with a beer bottle, causing multiple wounds to his arm.
Officers attended the location and spoke to the men, both of whom appeared to be intoxicated. One of the men, age 72 of West Bay, was arrested on suspicion of assault GBH. He was subsequently granted bail pending further investigation.
