Just after 11:05PM Sunday, 7 May, police and other emergency services were dispatched to a report of a collision involving a cyclist that occurred at the roundabout located at Elgin Avenue and Hospital Road. The collision took place on the roundabout when a vehicle was traveling west on Elgin Avenue and a cyclist was traveling east on the left side of the road way.

The cyclist was transported to the Cayman Islands Hospital by ambulance where he continues to be treated for serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

The incident is being investigated by the police.
