Police are currently on the scene of a collision involving three vehicles, which occurred just before 3:00PM today, 15 January. A silver SUV was travelling westbound on Shedden Road, when it collided with a vehicle in the vicinity of Mary Street. The SUV continued westbound and left the roadway, colliding with the wall of a store west of Shedden Road, and then with another silver SUV that was traveling eastbound . The driver of the first SUV exited the vehicle and fled the scene on foot, in the direction of Dr. Roy’s Drive. Based on the damage to the vehicle, the driver is believed to have been injured during the collision.

Police are appealing for any witnesses to the collision, or who may have seen the driver of the vehicle, to contact 949-4222.

No other injuries have so far been reported as a result of the incident.

Shedden Road was temporarily closed in the vicinity of the collision, but has since been reopened.
