Cayman: Police Investigate Robbery at Restaurant in George Town

Shortly before midnight, Sunday 5 May, police responded to a report of an armed robbery at a restaurant in the vicinity of Shedden Road and Dr Roy’s Drive, George Town.

It was reported to police that a masked man entered the restaurant armed with what appeared to be a firearm and took personal belongings from two persons present.  He then left the location on foot, heading in the direction of Dr Roy’s Drive.

An investigation is ongoing and detectives are appealing for any witnesses to come forward and provide information about this incident. Anyone with information is being encouraged to call the George Town Police Station at 949-4222.
