Cayman: Police Investigate Robbery in George Town

Shortly after 8:00PM Thursday, 11 May, officers responded to a report of a robbery at a service station on Shedden Road at the intersection of North Sound Road. Two masked men, one of whom appeared to be carrying a firearm, entered the business and demanded cash from the register. The men then fled west along Shedden Road on foot with a quantity of cash. No shots were fired during the incident and no one was injured.
One of the suspects is described as being short in height, of brown complexion. The second suspect is described as being taller and of dark complexion. Both were dressed in all black with masks.
The matter is currently under investigation by George Town CID, and anyone with any information, or who may have witnessed anything suspicious in the area around the time of the incident, is asked to contact 949-4222.
