From RCIPS

Just after 1:15AM today 3 December, police were dispatched by the 9-1-1 Communication Centre to a convenience store off Eastern Avenue in George Town where it was reported that a robbery had taken place.

It was reported that a man wearing dark coloured clothing, entered the store with a machete and stole and quantity cash. The man then made off on foot and is believed to have headed in the direction of School Road off Eastern Avenue.

The incident is being investigated by the police and detectives are encouraging anyone with information about this incident to call the George Town Police Station at 949-4222. Anonymous tips can also be provided directly to the RCIPS via our Confidential Tip Line at 949-7777, or via our website.
