Cayman: Police investigate serious assault incident involving juveniles
Just after 11:30AM yesterday, 30 September, police received a report of an assault that had taken place at the Cayman Islands Further Education Centre (CIFEC).
Two juvenile male students at the location were engaged in a physical altercation that resulted in one of the males receiving facial injuries. He was taken to the hospital by private car, where he was treated and later released.
The matter is currently under police investigation and detectives are encouraging anyone with information regarding this matter to contact the George Town Police Station at 949-4222. More specifically, anyone with videos or pictures of the incident may submit them anonymously or otherwise, through the RCIPS website or mobile app. Members of the public are being asked to refrain from publicly sharing such images, whether on social media or through instant messaging.
