From RCIPS Aug 8 2020

Just before for 9:45PM yesterday, 7 August, police and other emergency services were dispatched by the 9-1-1 Communication Centre to a Mini Mart located along Rev Blackman Drive in West Bay. It was reported that a man attended the location seeking assistance for a serious laceration to one of his hands.

The man was attended to by Emergency Medical Services and transported to the Cayman Islands Hospital where he is currently being treated for a serious but non-life-threatening injury.

The circumstances of the man’s injury is being investigated by the police and detectives are appealing for witnesses to come forward. Anyone with information is encouraged to call the West Bay Police Station at 949- 3999.
