At about 9:15AM yesterday, 23 December, the 9-1-1 Communications Centre dispatched officers to a report of a two-vehicle collision on Crewe Road, between Navis Close and Palm Dale Avenue, involving a Toyota RAV 4 and a box truck.

The two occupants of the Toyota were taken to the Cayman Islands Hospital to be treated for what appear to be non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the truck received a minor injury and will also receive medical attention. The roadway was temporarily closed following the incident but has since been reopened.

The matter is under investigation. Anyone who may have witnessed the incident is asked to contact the Traffic & Roads Policing Unit at 649-6254.
