Cayman: Police Operation in East End Leads to the Arrest of Two Men for Drugs Offences
At around 11:30AM, Sunday 2 June, police officers conducted a search under the Misuse of Drugs Act, at a residential address in East End.
On arrival at the location one man, on seeing police, fled from a vehicle he was seated in and made good his escape. The vehicle was searched and a quantity of ganja and drug paraphernalia was recovered.
A second man at the residence was searched and drugs were found in his possession. The man, a 46-year-old, of East End was arrested on suspicion of Possession with Intent to Supply Ganja and Cocaine.
A search was conducted inside the house but nothing further was located.
Subsequently, today, Wednesday 5 June, police arrested the man that fled the scene, for the same offences and possession of additional ganja found today. The man is a 31-year-old of East End and remains in custody whilst investigations continue.
