Cayman: Police Respond to Armed Robbery in West Bay

Just before 4:00AM, this morning, Saturday 28 September, police received a report of an armed robbery at a commercial premises on Mount Pleasant Road, West Bay.
It was reported that two men with face coverings entered the store armed with bladed weapons and demanded money from the employees. After taking the money, the men ran from the location, heading in the direction of Mona Lisa Way.
There were no reported injuries as a result of the incident.
The males are described as tall, of slim build, and both wearing face coverings.
The matter is currently under investigation by West Bay CID. Anyone with any information is asked to contact 949-3999.
