The Poinciana Rehabilitation Centre (PRC) team is hosting information sessions on the Psychiatric Nursing Assistant Training Programme and invite the public to attend. The sessions will take place on Friday, 15 March and 22 March at the Constitution Hall located in George Town. 

“We want to ensure that the opening of the Poinciana Rehabilitation Centre will create job opportunities for Caymanians who are interested in working in the field of mental health services,” explains Mrs. Nellie Pouchie, Chief Officer for the Ministry of Health & Wellness. 

The 29-month job training programme will include 5 months of entry level training coupled with 24 months of on-the-job experience, during which the trainees will be paid. Further details about the programme along with expectations, time commitment and future career opportunities will be shared during the information sessions, amongst other things.

The upcoming sessions are scheduled for Friday, 15 March 3 – 5 pm and 22 March 4 – 6 pm at the Constitution Hall, formerly GT Town Hall. While spaces are limited, no registration is required. For more information, email [email protected].
