Cayman: Public Lands Commission Issues Public Advisory – Updated Closure Times for Indoor Facilities at Scholars Park, West Bay

Public Lands Commission encourages care for our beaches and mutual respect among campers.
The Public Lands Commission wishes to advise the public that, effective immediately, all indoor facilities at Scholars Park in West Bay, including restrooms, will be closed daily from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. This measure supports the ongoing upkeep, safety and proper use of the park’s amenities.
We encourage all visitors to continue enjoying Scholars Park during daylight hours, generally from sunrise to sunset. Parks are intended for recreational use during these hours and are not designed for overnight stays, personal shelter or extended occupancy after closing. Your cooperation helps us keep these spaces clean, safe and welcoming for the entire community, and ensures that Scholars Park remains a well-maintained and functional space for everyone to enjoy.
We thank the public for their understanding and cooperation. For more information, please contact the Public Lands Commission at plc@gov.ky or 244 2450.
We look forward to your continued enjoyment of Scholars Park during regular operating hours.

It almost feels like a real-life version of Fnaf, being locked out when darkness falls! Remember this for evening visits and plan accordingly for restroom needs.
