Grand Cayman, 17 June 2024 – Showers affecting the Cayman Islands are expected to persist throughout the day tomorrow, Tuesday 18 June, before gradually subsiding in the evening. Some showers are expected to impact the Sister Islands tonight. The National Weather Service recorded about 1.5 inches of rainfall in Grand Cayman and nearly one inch in Cayman Brac over the last two days. Forecast models show a range of an additional 0.5 to 1.5 inches of rain over the next 24 hours. 

As business resumes following the long weekend, authorities are advising that the public take precautions on the wet roadways.
