Cayman: Registration opens for Women’s Economic Empowerment Workshop
In recognition of 16 Days of Activism against Gender Based Violence, which runs from Nov 25 through Dec 10, the Gender Affairs Unit in partnership with the University of the West Indies Open Campus (Cayman site), will be presenting a half-day workshop to help women who are interested in opening their own small business.
The free workshop falls in line with the United Nation’s Women’s Entrepreneurial Day, and #ChooseWomen campaign.
Participants will have the opportunity to learn theory, skills, and techniques; in addition to information on the local resources and legal regulations and procedures required as they contemplate business ownership.
The event will be held at the George Town Library Conference Room on Wednesday, 30th Nov 2022, from 10:00am – 1:00pm. Refreshments will be served.
