The RCIPS would like to inform the public of a number of road closures in George Town to facilitate the Lying In State ceremony of the late John Jefferson Snr., Cert. Hon, former member of the Legislative Assembly (LA). 

 
On Friday, 18 December 8:30AM-9:30AM and 10:45AM-12:00PM:

 
-Vehicular access through the area immediately in front of the Parliament (formerly LA) on Fort Street will be closed. 

-The junction of Fort Street and Edward Street will be closed to vehicular traffic.

-Northbound traffic on Edward Street will be diverted right onto Fort Street (at the Town Clock). 

-Access to Fort Street at the junction of Harbour Drive will be closed.
 

-The junction of Fort Street and Albert Panton Street will be closed.
