Cayman: Second Weekly COVID-19 Situation Report (16-22 January 2022 – 2,739 NEW Positives)

Grand Cayman – From 16 – 22 January 2022, 2,739 new cases were reported by Public Health. This represents an average of 391 cases per day across all three Cayman Islands.

There were 4,553 confirmed cases of Omicron by the end of this period. There were 6,578 known active cases during this period, representing 19.4 per cent of the population.
               

There were no deaths during this period, leaving total deaths since the onset of the pandemic at 15.
