The Department of Education Services (DES) advises parents and guardians that standard student registration is now closed for the 2022/2023 academic year.

 Late applications will be accepted throughout July and August 2022.

Student Transfer Requests

Requests for student transfers received on or after 16 June will be processed no earlier than 8 August 2022.

The DES also advises that the following Year Groups are closed for the 2022/2023 academic year:

Primary Schools
Prospect Primary School:    Year 1, Year 5 & Year 6
Red Bay Primary School:     Reception & Year 1

Secondary Schools
John Gray High School:     Year 7, Year 8, Year 9 & Year 11
Clifton Hunter High School: Year 7, Year 8, Year 9 & Year 11

The DES does not accept Student Registration or Transfer Requests for applicants entering Year 11, as students must attend a school in Years 10 and 11 to ensure they have completed the Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) course.
