Grand Cayman – The Department of Vehicle and Drivers’ Licensing (DVDL) advises members of the public that its Crewe Road location will be opened for vehicle owners with temporary plates to switch them on Saturday, December 11, 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The temporary plates, which are paper laminated, will be exchanged for permanent ones.

Customers are reminded that failure to replace temporary plates is a criminal offence, with a fine of $2,500 or up to six months imprisonment, or both.
