Mini-Agriculture Show and Family Fun Day

On Saturday 30th November, the traditional Market at the Grounds will for the very first time be transformed into a Mini-Agriculture Show and Family Fun Day.  Local farmers and market vendors will be on site to serve and sell fresh local produce including pumpkin, fish, breadfruit, cassava, yam, bananas, poultry, eggs, meats, seasoning, peppers and many other items to help put the finishing touches on your Thanksgiving meal.

A Mini-Agriculture Show & Family Fun Day to celebrate Cayman Thanksgiving will be held at the Agricultural Pavilion, Lower Valley, from 7:00am to 4:30pm.

Admission at the gate is $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 5-12.  Save even more by purchasing the Cayman Thanksgiving Weekend Pass which gives you admission to both the Homecoming Concert and the Mini-Agriculture Show for $20 adults and $8 for children ages 5-12.

In bringing to mind the wonderful things for which to be thankful and expressing gratitude for “…all good things around us …”, we humbly suggest that you include special prayers of blessing for our local farmers and fishermen, who provide us with the food we eat.  As Fellowship and Communion are essential tenets of our Faith, all members are encouraged to share in a traditional Caymanian meal, using locally grown produce; and to support this, Market at the Grounds on Sunday, December 1, will be featuring a wide variety of produce at specially marked prices. Caymanians are encouraged to invite non-Caymanians to their family gatherings to share their culture and heritage, to encourage fellowship, promote kindness and demonstrate “loving thy neighbour as thyself”.
