For Cayman Academy Stride Against Cancer, 7 February

Cayman Academy is hosting their Stride Against Cancer walk on Friday, 7 February, beginning at 8:30AM. Participants will travel from Cayman Academy on Walkers Road, to the Cayman Islands Cancer Society on Maple Road, and back. The event is expected to be completed by 10:30AM.

Motorists travelling on Walkers Road and Maple Road on Friday morning are advised to exercise caution.

For Race Caribbean 5K, 7 February

Race Caribbean is hosting a 5K Walk/Run for Charity on Friday, 7 February, at 8:00AM, starting at the Westin Hotel on West Bay Road. Participants will travel north on West Bay Road to Public Beach, pass the Kimpton and return to West Bay Road, travelling south on the Esterley Tibbetts Highway, returning to the Westin via Raleigh Quay, Public Beach and West Bay Road. The event is expected to be completed by 9:00AM.

Motorists travelling in these areas on Friday morning are advised to exercise caution.

For Valentine Fun Run, 8 February

The St. George’s Anglican Church Mothers Union is hosting its annual Valentine Fun Run on Saturday, 8 February. The event begins at 6:00AM at Smith Barcadere and participants will travel south and east along South Sound Road to The Avenue, and then return to Smith Barcadere via South Sound Road. The event is expected to be completed at 8:30AM.

Motorists are advised to exercise caution if travelling on South Sound Road on Saturday morning.

For KiwaniBike Cycle Event, 9 February

The Kiwanis Club of Grand Cayman is hosting their annual KiwaniBike Cycle Event on Sunday, 9 February starting at 7:00AM at the Blow Holes in East End. Participants will then travel to Smith Barcadere via Sea View Road, Bodden Town Road, Shamrock Road, South Sound Road and South Church Street. The event is expected to be completed by 8:30AM.

Motorists are advised to exercise caution if travelling in these areas on Sunday morning.
