Cayman: Traffic collision involving a pedestrian in George Town

Shortly after 11:30PM yesterday, 24 November, officers responded to a report of a traffic collision involving a pedestrian on Keturah Street in George Town. The pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle and sustained injuries to his head and arm. He was transported to the Cayman Islands Hospital for treatment where he remains in stable condition.
Officers spoke to the driver of the vehicle involved and conducted a roadside breath test. The man, age 37 of George Town, was arrested on suspicion of DUI. He has been granted bail as investigations continue.
