Shortly after 9:30PM on Saturday, 13 February, officers responded to a traffic collision on Shedden Road, west of Vibert Bodden Drive, involving a white Toyota Aristo and a grey Volkswagen Golf.

The Toyota had left the roadway, overturned, and collided with a fence and the Volkswagen which was parked at the location.

Both vehicles received significant damage.

The driver of the Toyota was breath tested and found to be over the legal limit.

He complained of experiencing pain and was transported to the Cayman Islands Hospital for treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.

The Volkswagen was unoccupied at the time.
