Cayman: Traffic Diversions in Central George Town – see video
From RCIPS
Traffic diversions are now in place in Central George Town to facilitate road works as part of the Cayman Islands Government, George Town Revitilisation Central Business Enhancement Project Phase II.
The attached diagram shows the current traffic layout in place for the affected streets: Main Street, Edward Street, Albert Panton Street, Cardinall Avenue and Dr. Roy’s Drive.
Motorists must carefully observe signage and cones while traversing through the diversions, and are asked to consider all road users, drive with caution and exercise patience at this time.
The work is expected to take around 6 months to complete. As such, motorists should expect congestion at peak travel times through this area and are advised to consider alternate routes if possible.
The RCIPS thanks motorists for helping us keep our roadways safe for all road users.
