Cayman: Two men charged in relation to Burglaries

A man, age 43 of West Bay, has been arrested and formally charged with Burglary, Theft, and Handling Stolen Goods. The charges stem from an incident on Saturday, 25 November, where a man had broken into an apartment in a condominium complex off West Bay Road and stole items, then fled when he was spotted by the occupant. The man also entered a vehicle at the location and stole items from it.
He appeared in court yesterday, Tuesday, 28 November, and has been remanded pending a further appearance.
Another man, age 51 of George Town, has been charged with two counts of Burglary, both of the charges stemming from two separate incidents on Friday, 24 November and Saturday, 25 November, where a school on Walker’s Road was broken into and speakers and an AC unit were stolen.
He appears in court today, 29 November.
