Shortly before 7:00PM on Saturday, 30 January, officers responded to a report of a motor vehicle collision involving a Ford Escape and a Kawasaki motorcycle on Shamrock Road in the vicinity of Whistling Way. The rider of the motorcycle was transported to the Cayman Islands Hospital for treatment for serious injuries, and remains in hospital. The driver of the Ford was not injured.

The matter is currently under investigation and anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Traffic & Roads Policing Unit at 649-6254 or the George Town Police Station at 949-4222.
