Police can now confirm that Tahja Carter, who was reported missing on Tuesday 30 March, has now been located and spoken to. She appears to be in good health.

Initial Release (1 April):
Police were informed on Tuesday, 30 March, that Tahja Carter, age 16, absconded from the Francis Bodden Children’s Home on Friday 26 March, and has not returned home or been located since.
She was last seen on Saturday in the Savannah area. Tahja is of light brown complexion, brown eyes, 5ft 5inches in height and medium built. She has short natural curly hair. (a photo is attached)
Anyone with information on her whereabouts is encouraged to call the Bodden Town Police Station at 947-2220 or the George Town Police Station at 949-4222.
