UPDATE: Man Charged with Firearm Offenses Following Arrest, 27 May
The man, age 54 of George Town, who was arrested following a search operation on Tuesday, 24 May, where a firearm and ammunition were recovered, has been formally charged with Possession of an Unlicensed Firearm and Possession of an Unlicensed Firearm (Ammunition). He appears in court this morning, 27 May.
The two women who were also arrested in relation to this matter have been granted bail as investigations continue.

Firearm Recovered During Search and Three Arrested, 25 May
Yesterday, 24 May, officers carried out a search operation under the Misuse of Drugs Act at an address on Rock Hole Road in George Town. During the search a loaded firearm was recovered: a revolver containing six rounds of ammunition. As a result, three persons were arrested on suspicion of possession of an unlicensed firearm: A man, age 54 of George Town, and two women, ages 38 and 34 of George Town.
All three persons remain in custody as investigations continue.
