Cayman – UPDATE: Wanted Man Mark Seymour Arrested

UPDATE:
Shortly after midday today, Friday 1 November, police located and arrested wanted man, 39-year-old Mark Anthony Seymour, in the vicinity of Grand Harbour.
Police had cause to stop a vehicle, which after neglecting to stop, proceeded to collide into the Grand Harbour roundabout. Mark Seymour and one other person exited the vehicle and a foot chase ensued.
Officers subsequently located and apprehended Mark Seymour. The second person evaded capture and is currently being sought by police.
Seymour has been transported to the detention center where he remains in custody as investigations continue.
Police wish to thank the community for their assistance in locating Mr. Seymour.

The RCIPS is seeking information regarding the whereabouts of 39-year-old Mark Anthony Seymour, of George Town, who is wanted in relation to violent offenses.
Seymour is described as about 5’11” in height, of dark complexion and slim build, with long dreads.
He is known to drive rental cars and use motorcycles but is not licensed to drive a vehicle, and has repeatedly avoided Police traffic operations through dangerous driving.

If seen, members of the public should not approach him, but instead call 9-1-1 immediately and provide as much detail and description as possible regarding his location, vehicles being used and possibly direction of travel.
