Cayman: Wanted Men Formally Charged

UPDATE (2 December)
Romario Brown, age 23 of West Bay, has been formally charged in relation to two incidents which occurred on Thursday, 17 October, in the Countryside Shopping Plaza in Savannah. He has been charged with one count of Burglary, and one count of Attempted Burglary, respectively. He remains under investigation for multiple other offences.
Brown appeared in court this morning, 2 December, and was remanded.
Travis Webb, age 32 of George Town, has been formally charged with Escaping Lawful Custody. He appeared in court on Friday, 29 November, and was remanded into the care of the Health services Authority.
UPDATE (28 November):
Romario Brown, age 23 of West Bay, who was circulated as wanted on 18 November, has now been arrested by the police after attending the Cayman Islands Detention Centre yesterday, 27 November. He is currently in custody pending further investigations.
Initial Release (18 November):
Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Romario Brown, often referred to as Mario. Mr. Brown, age 23, whose last known address was in West Bay, is wanted in relation to several burglary offenses.
Brown is described as approximately 5ft 4 inches tall, slim built and of dark brown complexion and with dreadlock hair.
The police are advising that he should not be approached by members of the public, but instead call 9-1-1 if seen. Investigators are encouraging anyone with information about the whereabouts of this man to call the George Town Police Station at 949-4222.
The public is being reminded that according to the Police Act (2021 Revision), it is an offense to obstruct, mislead or act in such a way as to prevent the apprehension of a person who has committed an offense. If prosecuted under this section, you may be liable on conviction to a fine of $5000 or imprisonment for two years or both.
