Water Authority – Cayman’s Geology Education Week 2024 proved to be both engaging and insightful. 10 local high schools participated including Layman E. Scott High School in Cayman Brac. In total, over 300 students attended the lectures presented by Dr. Brian Jones, Geology professor and author of ‘Geology of the Cayman Islands.’

Dr. Jones also hosted a professional development course, which gave 20 government officials and local educators expert insight into the geological significance of the Cayman Islands and an opportunity to visit sites of geological significance in Grand Cayman.
