Cayman: West Bay man charged with nine (9) offenses, 7 May

A 27-year-old man of West Bay was formally charged by the police yesterday in relation to 2 separate incidents.
The man was charged with Indecent Exposure, Possession of an Offensive Weapon, Consumption of Ganja and Breach of Curfew in relation to an incident that took place on 4 April in the vicinity of Sea Fan Drive, West Bay. Officers responded to a report that a man had been indecently exposing himself at the location. The man was also found to be carrying a knife on his person. The man was arrested by officers and later bailed while investigations were carried out.
On Monday, 4 May, the 27-year-old-man was again arrested on suspicion of breach of curfew, DUI and other traffic offenses by officers on Savannah Avenue in Bodden Town, following a vehicle stop during the hours of hard curfew. He was held in custody while investigations were progressed and has since been charged with Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, Breach of Curfew, Driving without Insurance, Use of a Vehicle with an Expired License and Driving with an Expired Driver’s License.
The man will appear in summary court today via video link to answer to all nine (9) charges.
