Cayman: Woman arrested for Possession of Drugs and Illegal Gambling in George Town

Around 2:15PM, Monday 4 September, RCIPS officers responded to a report of illegal gambling involving a woman in a parked vehicle on Kennedy Drive, George Town.
On approaching the vehicle and engaging the woman, officers noticed the scent of ganja coming from the vehicle. A search of the vehicle and the woman revealed a quantity of ganja, cash, and items pertaining to illegal gambling.
The woman, a 32-year-old of George Town was arrested on suspicion of possession and consumption of ganja with intent to sell, and suspicion of illegal gambling and was transported to the detention center where she was processed and released on bail pending further investigation.
