Cayman: You helped us support Local Cancer Patients!
| Our last newsletter covered the exploratory trip the Mobley’s are taking to help struggling Cubans in the Camagüey sector. Your response was incredible! They arrived yesterday so updates will come soon! But the results are in for the funds we raised to support Local Cancer Patients! 🙌 As you know when you called Polar Bear in the month of October to diagnose your faulty air conditioner, we pledged to pass on all of those diagnostic fees to the Cayman Islands Cancer Society. We believe in treating each other like family and that extends to the Cayman community! We would not be able to do any of this without your business. So thank you for making Polar Bear Air Conditioning your service provider! Together we were able to donate $2818! 👏👏👏 Paola Robinson, the Operations Manager at CICS shares the impact this will make: Early detection is key! CICS provides Charity Vouchers for testing to effectively detect cancerous cells at an early stage and eliminate it from the body before it spreads. For individuals who are eligible, CICS offices provide vouchers for: pap tests, prostate exams, and mouth or throat cancer screenings The CICS’s year-round Financial-Aid Programme helps with the increased expenses for LOCAL cancer patients! Your contribution will go towards: * Treatment expenses * Flights and accommodation for patients traveling overseas *nCash towards rent or groceries for cancer patients.
