Caymanian seconded to Intertrust Hong Kong
Her role as corporate administrator in Intertrust’s Private Equity and Corporate non-US team exposed her to clients and business partners across the world, mainly in Asia. When the opportunity arose to work side-by-side with them, Andrea leapt at the chance and expressed, “I am grateful to Intertrust for allowing me this opportunity. It is a wonderful feeling to know that you are valued as an employee and that you have the ability for growth and development.”
Andrea is the third employee in the last few years from Intertrust Cayman to have been sent overseas on secondment, thanks to Intertrust’s International Mobility Programme. Corporate administrators, Neydis Taveras and Boris Brady were also seconded for six months, with Neydis having been seconded to Hong Kong in May of 2014 and Boris to Dubai in June of 2013.
Andrea’s business unit director, Chris Smith commented on her secondment, adding, “Intertrust’s employee value proposition is to present staff with opportunities for personal development and international careers. With Intertrust’s global presence and diversity in clients and services, employees have the chance to find a career path that is right for them. Furthermore, working at Intertrust means working in a dynamic, challenging business environment that facilitates meeting colleagues and clients from all over the world. Our International Mobility program can enable employees to become part of a diverse multicultural group and allow them to gain experience abroad. I am pleased that Andrea expressed keen interest in utilizing the opportunities that Intertrust presents and that, as part of our commitment to investing in people, we are helping with the achievement of her personal goals.”
