As ‘Pinktober’ approaches, Camana Bay is showing its support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month with ideas to help everyone embrace the pink all month long.

From 1 to 27 October, Camana Bay’s Town Centre will glow pink every night as a colourful reminder of the cause. On 3rd October show your support for the Lions Club of Tropical Gardens at its annual Breast Cancer Awareness Month Opening Ceremony and on Saturday, 8th October join the fitness experts from ENERGY as they return with the annual Pilates for Pink fundraiser — registration is only CI$25 per person. Time your next haircut to align with Eclipze Hair Design & Day Spa’s annual cut-a-thon on 23rd October, where volunteers from island-wide beauty salons will provide a variety of services at discounted prices. Proceeds from all activities this month will go to the Cayman Islands Cancer Society and The Lion’s Club of Tropical Garden Breast Awareness Fund. Prevention is key with breast cancer; keep your health in check with regular screenings at TrinCay and look after your wellness by picking up a Pink Panther or Tickled Pink beverage from Jessie’s Juice Bar, where the motto “Let your food be your medicine, not your demise” guides their menu. Stay active with CrossFit or Anytime Fitness gym classes, regular jogs up and down The Observation Tower, or keep moving while lowering stress levels with relaxing walks along the waterfront promenade.
