Premier Honourable Juliana O’Connor-Connolly and Deputy Premier Honourable Rolston Anglin presented Ms. Elmiel Victoria Powery with the Premier’s Centenarian certificate on her 100^th birthday on 17 January 2013. Her grandson Michael, and son John Davis Currison (back, right) also pictured.

Ms. Powery was joined by a host of family and friends at her home in West Bay on Thursday afternoon. A big celebration is planned for Saturday, 19 January at the Wesleyan Holiness Church Hall. The event is organised by her niece Rachel Powery.
