The Chamber Pension Plan Board of Trustees recently welcomed Lynn Roffey as their newly elected Chair, an accounting and finance professional who has 19 years of experience in her field of expertise.

As the Financial Controller for Androgroup Ltd and its affiliated companies, Mrs. Roffey has an in depth understanding of local business issues, combined with significant international business experience.

Mrs. Roffey says that as the Financial Controller of a local company with many employees who are Plan members, she has always taken a keen interest in the Chamber Pension Plan.   This interest resulted in her being on the Chamber Pension Plan’s Board of Trustees since 2009.

“At Androgroup Ltd around 80 employees are members of the Chamber Pension Plan, so it has always been important for me to engage in a strong relationship with the Plan,” she confirms.  I encourage other employers to do the same.”

“Now being elected Chair of the Plan’s Board of Trustees is a great honour.  This year we have added some remarkable new Trustees to the team and we have a wonderful new General Manager.  We have some exciting plans for the coming year and I am proud to assist in this growth and development of the Plan.”

Prior to joining Androgroup Ltd in 2005 as its Financial Controller, Mrs. Roffey was an IT/Business Systems Consultant in the United States for ten years, with major international clients such as Amoco Corporation, Rolls-Royce North America, Black and Decker Inc and the United States Navy. Mrs. Roffey has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration – Finance, from the University of Chicago, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration – Accounting, from the University of Notre Dame, Indiana.

The Chamber Pension Plan’s General Manager, Bill Fleury, says the Chamber Pension Plan will greatly benefit from Mrs. Roffey’s broad expertise and knowledge.
